The latest installment of the Metro saga has sold more than six million units since its premiere in 2019, becoming one of the most successful games of the last quarter of Embracer Group.
Embracer Group has published its latest financial results report, which reflects its movements between October and December 2021. It has confirmed some milestones in the sale of games from its catalog. One of the most notable is Metro Exodus, which has exceeded 6 million units sold, becoming one of the titles that have most driven the company's growth in the last quarter and exceeded managers' expectations, as explained in the report itself.
Metro Exodus was initially published in 2019 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Still, last year it received an improved version with new graphic quality and performance on new generation PCs and consoles. The news for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC was implemented free of charge for those who already had the game, but it still seems that it has managed to revitalize sales of the latest title from 4A Games studio that is already working on a new saga.

Other Embracer Group games that have sold well in late 2021
Another of the titles in the Embracer Group catalog that has performed well at the sales level during the company's last quarter has been Hot Wheels Unleashed, an arcade racing title developed by Milestone that has sold more than a million units since its launch in September last year. Even so, the report highlights that previously released titles were the ones that drove sales of the company's catalog, pointing to the good performance of Saints Row The Third: Remastered in addition to that of Metro Exodus.
